Baltika company entered the Indian market

14 Oct 2019 Russia India
Baltika Brewery presented its non-alcoholic beer at Amazon's B2C e-commerce site in India. Further expansion of the assortment is planned, mainly due to non-alcoholic varieties. The Indian market is quite difficult for the export of brewing products, due to increased duties.
“In India, the grocery e-commerce sector is now very attractive for large manufacturers. In addition, with the growth of urbanization, an increase in the size of the middle class and the growing influence of Western culture, imported products are in high demand in India, which is why global beer brands such as Baltika, are becoming more and more popular among Indian consumers, "the report quoted Elena Volgusheva, senior director of export sales and intra-group supply of the company.
