Customs of Russia and India will improve interaction

Russia and India signed a plan of interaction between customs services in the field of combating customs offenses for 2019-2022, the FCS of Russia reported. A joint Russian-Indian working group to implement the most effective interaction will be established. The agreement on this, in the framework of the WEF-2019, was signed by the head of the FCS Vladimir Bulavin and the Indian Ambassador to Russia Datla Bala Venkatesh Varma.
The plan provides for the coordination of actions and the exchange of information of interest from the point of view of preventing, detecting and suppressing customs offenses, including as part of the fight against drug smuggling, the movement of prohibited and restricted distribution of goods, and false declarations, the FCS press service said in a statement.
