India plans to increase imports of Russian fuel

The Indian delegation visited the Far East on a working trip. It was led by the Minister of Natural Gas, Oil and Steel of the Republic of India, Dharmendra Pradhan. The purpose of this visit is to scale up cooperation between India and Russia in the field of energy. During the visit, negotiations were held with the head of Rosneft Igor Secheny, First Deputy Minister of Development of the Far East and the Arctic Sergey Tyrtsev.
"This year we plan to double the volume of imports compared to last year. (...). In the future we plan to increase supplies from Russia across the entire range of hydrocarbons - oil, gas and coal," Minister Pradhan said Visiting Vostochny Port JSC in the Primorsky Territory.
Also in the near future a final decision will be made on the participation of India in the East Oil oil production project. "We are offered to become partners in the Vostok Oil project. Now our companies are actively considering the data, and most likely these investments will be made," Pradhan said after negotiations with the head of Rosneft.
